Green cloth covered boards in fine shape, tips and spine ends sharp. 251pp text crisp and unmarked. Illustrated by Paul Brown including full color endpapers fore and aft, and several full page b/w plates throughout. Stated First Edition. Original, un-clipped color illustrated dust wrapper has a couple of creases, small repaired chips at head of rear panel and a few short closed tears but displays well in new mylar. A young adult novel, "The varied adventures of a lively group of young people who, riding Indian ponies, followed the blazed trail of a winding corduroy road through the deep forests of Northern Wisconsin.".
