About the book: Hardcover. No jacket. This is a true first edition, printed by the author in 1860. Inscribed to a "Wm Edwards' on first blank page. Book is in good condition. "Persons represented' is loosening, but still attached. Chipping/flaking/separating to spine cover. Overall, we are quite pleased with the condition of this 163 year old book. Extremely scarce as a first edition. Even more so as a signed copy.
