First trade edition of this collection of 20 daguerreotype's taken by Close, with accompanying praise poems by Holman, originally published in 2004 in a very limited edition of seventy-fine signed and numbered copies. Close states that the reproductions in this edition are the best of any photographs he has ever taken. Included are portraits of Elizabeth Murray, Cindy Sherman, Philip Glass, and Andres Serrano, among others, and an interview with Close and Holman by Lyle Rexer. Fine in gray boards with tipped-in image of Close on the front board and Holman on the rear board, absent dw as issued. SIGNED by Close and Holman on the title page.

Shipping Terms
