Octavo. xiv, 242 pages. Blue cloth hardcover with title and border in black on the front cover. Faded title on the spine. On the front paste down and is an inscription by one of the authors - "John Marshall Slaton From Mrs. Sam Inman Cooper". Written on the right front flyleaf "Just to fulfill a promise which your interest in my efforts flattered me into working - Augusta Skeen Cooper June, 1932". Laid inside the front cover is a 1974 envelope with a thank you card for expressing sympathy for Mr. Samuel Inman. Letter addressed to the Waldo Jones family in Atlanta. Augusta Skeen married Atlanta Architect Samuel Inman Cooper. John Marshall Slaton served as Georgia's Governor from 1911-1915. His political career ended after he commuted Leo Frank's sentence to life in prison in 1915. Frank was later lynched by a mob in 1915.
