First edition, first prnt. Inscribed by Hall to poet Philip Booth on the front free endpage. "For Phil with the great pleasure of April snow in Ithaca & Syracuse Don Hall April 13, 1962." Also signed and dated "8.30.58" by Booth (as "Philip Booth") on the page. Boards with beginning toning at edges and spine bottom edge cloth gently pushed; dustjacket with price-clip, edge and spine toning, short closed tear on the rear panel topedge (not immediately apparent), tiny nick at spine bottom edge and just-touched corners and spine ends. Very Good condition in a Very Good dustjacket with an archival cover. A clean bright copy of Hall's first collection after EXILES AND MARRIAGES, the Lamont Poetry Selection 1955.
