First edition. Inscribed to Ed Rice (poet and Saroyan collaborator) and SIGNED by Kherdian in San Francisco 1965. Mild creasing to some pages, from handling, else very good in stapled wraps. Rice has initialed a few margins. David Meltzer (1937--2016) was a poet and musician of the Beat Generation and San Francisco Renaissance. Lawrence Ferlinghetti described him as "one of the greats of post-World-War-Two San Francisco poets and musicians." David Kherdian (born 1931) is an Armenian-American writer, poet, and editor.
