Bound in blue cloth with gilt titles to spine, this dated 1960 hardcover First Edition is signed and inscribed by the auithor on the FFEP and is VG in slightly chipped Jacket(unclipped). 224pp with20 Chapters, with introduction by Chris Chataway. The author acted as agent against the Gestapo, although her Jewish nationality may have beeen fatal. She was caught, imprisoned and punished. Liberated by the Allies, she took on the task of helping refugees in Germany post-war.Condition VG.
