Add to basketVery Good (covers very nice; contents clean & tight). A very nice copy with a wonderful association. 8vo., printed brick-colored wraps; 12 pages Rare First Edition. Signed by the author to his father: "With love to Jake, From his son David. Dec. 2, 1969." David John Zeitlin [1932-2014] was a well-known guitarist and teacher at UCLA and at McCabe's Guitar shop in West Los Angeles for 41 years. He is the only son of Gina Weyl and Jake Zeitlin. Jake Zeitlin [1902-1987] was an American bookseller, publisher, collector, poet and intellectual in Los Angeles in the mid-twentieth century. The book is about playing the three-string Appalachian dulcimer. Very hard to find a copy of this musical guide.
