First edition. Octavo. Artist's book. SIGNED by Gilbert and George and hand-numbered as 1623 of 2000 copies. Described by the artists as a sculpture: text and black and white photographs from three years of their daily lives; dark portraits, interiors, and the glasses, bottles, and rituals of drinking. Spine with a slight slant, top-edge a little dusty, else near fine in hand-marbled cloth boards, titles in gilt, with minimal rubbing at spine.
