The founder and first Prime Minister of Israel, David Ben-Gurion (1886-1973) is featured in a black & white photo essay with images from his life and career. Text by Yehudah Erez. Book is in near fine condition with a bump at foot of spine. Dust jacket is fair only with heavy creases, small chips, tears and (mostly) underside tape repairs. Jacket now preserved in a new mylar sleeve. From the collection of American author Herman Wouk (1915-2019). Signed and inscribed by Ben-Gurion in Hebrew on the half-title page in 1955.
