Dead Man's Ransom : The Ninth Chronicle of Brother Cadfael : Signed bookplate: First printing

True first British printing with original unclipped jacket (£6.95). Signed by the author to official Ellis Peters bookplate which is stuck inside front board. Jacket has faults - namely edge/shelf wear, a few small marks, a little patchy browning, one small old tape repair/reinforcement to reverse (white side) which has left a mark/faults to top surface to front upper edge, the odd small crease/rub to edges, a little pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine, the odd spot of foxing, a little pushing/bumping to corners, one small crease to front inner flap and is in only good condition. Boards are near fine (having been well protected by the jacket) with a hint of pushing to corners, the odd very small mark, odd small bump/rub to edges and a little pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Minor spine lean. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Previous owner's bookplate to front end-paper. Pages are tanned. Odd small mark/minor foxing to top edge of pages. Odd small mark/spot of foxing to page edges and bottoms. Very occasional small mark/spot of foxing to pages. No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted.…
