In red cloth-covered boards, with gilt titles to spine (boards clean, fresh and square). Internally neat, clean, bright and tight, barring hint of toning and finger mark on half title page. In its original dust jacket (a little worn and faded, flat crease along top and lower edges, chipped at spine head. While millions of words have been written about Winston Churchill, this was the first book published to provide an account of the great man in his moments of relaxation, packed with anecdotes and descriptions of Churchill's life at Chartwell, Chequers and Downing Street, holidays in Morocco and South of France, and records Churchill's views on such things as food, marriage and the hereafter. 8vo.
