About the Author

Nancy Johnston Howe was raised in Buffalo, New York and attended Wells College in Aurora, New York. After marrying in 1959, she joined her new husband on a dairy farm in rural North Carolina. Today, the author is a co-owner of a family nursery and landscaping business. The author and her husband continue to reside in North Carolina.
