First Edition. Inscribed by Vidal under his pseudonym to fellow author William Targ: "For Wm Targ / Edgar Box." Very Good with the usual discoloration to the cloth and some foxing to the front pastedown. In a Very Good dust jacket that is foxed on the verso, with chipping along the top edge, and a mostly separated front flap fold.
