Uncommon signed first printing of this collection from American cartoonist, William Steig (1907-2003). Consists of a portfolio of drawings accompanied by captions. Steig has also added a short appendix which describes "exactly what happens when man and wife fall to quarreling at the dinner table." 8vo, unpaginated. Publisher's brown cloth stamped on front cover and spine. Signed by Steig on the ffep. Cloth worn at corners and spine ends, old price in pen on ffep else clean internally. Original illustrated jacket is chipped at spine ends and along front joint, with spine toned. Original price of $2.00 in tact. Good condition. Seller Inventory # 5287
