Stated First Edition. The book is bound in red cloth with the title and author stamped on the spine. The binding is square and tight and the corners are sharp. Very light rubbing wear on the spine caps. Inscribed by the author on the ffe. Otherwise, pages are clean, smooth and unmarked. The dust jacket is in very good condition with a .25 " closed tear on the top ed of front panel, another on the bottom edge of back panel and chipping wear on the top of the spine panel. The original price-"$ 3.50" is on the front flap. From the dust jacket-"This friendly story- witty, humorous, wise and tender-could only have happened in New York in the incredible years know as the Twenties". Seller Inventory # ABE-1702397393949
