Not ex-library. Inscribed on front endpaper: "To Michael Martin/ Best Wishes to one of the nicest boys I have ever met, your friend/ Nick Buoniconti/ Dolphins 85." Anderson was NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 1973; Buoniconti was enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2001 after a career with the New England Patriots as well as the Dolphins. Wrote a book on book collecting for a Random House imprint in 2004 and another, "Book Collecting Now: The Value of Print in a Digital Age," for Chatwin Books, published in 2019. I intended to keep most of these books forever, but my wife and I decided to move to Manhattan, which meant downsizing from an enormous suburban house, with practically unlimited bookshelf space, to an apartment in Greenwich Village.
