Signed on the half-title page by Ginoli. Pansy Division is a "queercore" band from San Francisco. The band formed in 1991 with the idea of being the first openly gay rock band whose music featured elements of same sex relationships, often humorously. The name itself is a play on the the homophobic use of "pansy". Deflowered is Ginoli's autobiography and record of shows, tours, and the band's evolution.
