Signed on the ffep, "Edward Streeter / New York June 27 1919" and below a drawing of a solider"s head, signed by the illustrator ("Bill Breck"). Streeter's first book and first in the Dear Mable series of letters written home by a barely-literate soldier in WWI. Streeter wrote Father of the Bride in 1949. Pictorial boards.
