Cream cloth-backed boards; 8vo; 267pp; illustrated with drawings by Ernest Lussier plus b/w and color photos by Matthew Vinciguerra; color photographic dust jacket. The story of America's fly tying family, based in Roscoe, NY on the banks of the Willowemoc River. Divided into 2 sections: their story and their techniques: the Dette method of tying the Catskill flies. Book and jacket are in near fine condition, bearing the signatures of Eric Leiser plus Walt, Winnie & Mary Dette. This copy flat signed by Walt, Winnie and Mary Dette as well as Eric Leiser. Both book and dust jacket are in near-fine condition.
