230p., many b&w photos (we count 51) with well-chosen framing, reproduced well; Wightman's brief preface dwells on his two camermen. A very soundly bound hardcover in 10x6.5 inch black cloth boards with textured blue backstrip and corner-tips, spine-titled in undamaged gilt and t.e.g. (top edge gilded) also. Top margins shows mild pressure-dents, dusty headbands, one corner turned with cardstock visible, milder edgewear at other locations. General trivial external dimness from age and handling: clean endsheets, good hinges, square firm textblock, marked only by the author's inscription in ink to a "Dr. Frank Overton" datelined "Jany 3/29". Laid in opposite this holograph is a NYT newsclip that miraculously hasn't toned book's paperstock. In sum, a very good copy.
