Original Cloth. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. Wakeley, Vincent (illustrator). First Edition. Signed by the author on the title page and dated in the year of publication with a dedication to Jack Finch who I believe was a friend of the author's. The boards have slight fading to the edges but are otherwise clean and unmarked. The page edges are a little browned with scattered light spotting. Brown spotting to the endpapers and to the half-title and title pages - and the equivalent pages at the end of the book. Small crease to the edge of page 189 but the pages are otherwise clean and unmarked. The price-clipped jacket has some scattered spotting to the front and rear panels and yellowing to the flaps.
