Uncommon signed stated First Edition of this American classic. ISBN on copyright page is 0-394-41788-1 though we've been unable to find a match for this elsewhere. Cloth, 260 pages, in excellent condition but for the rear panel which shows unfortunate abrasion -- see our image. Tiny 1 x 2 cm bookseller's sticker (Other Bookstore. Mystic, Conn) to rear pastedown. Top edge just faintly foxed. The dust-jacket is strong, bright and tight, no pieces missing, with only faint creasing top & bottom edges; one 1/2 cm closed tear to rear.; one 2 cm closed tear in crease at the base of the spine. Photo rather bleaches the gold & tan. Also, The metallic inks seem to have faded & scattered a bit over time. Michael Herr's signature in blue ink to title page. Seller Inventory # 2590
