Add to basket("Sabu Dastagir") in blue fountain pen ink, August 4, 1958. 8 1/2" x 11"; 6 pages (3 spearate pages, front and back); very good (minor signs of handling). Signed by Sabu on page 6. Also signed by Mitchell Gert as Sabu's agent. Sabu was not working on films in 1958 or 1959. Provenance: from the estate of Sabu. Sabu (1924-1963), born Sabu Dastagir, January 27, Karapur, Mysore, India; died December 2, 1963, Los Angeles, California of a heart attack; boyish Indian actor, a stable lad in Mysore when he was noticed by director Robert Flaherty and appeared in "Elephant Boy" 1937; film career from 1937 "The Thief of Bagdad" 1940; "The Jungle Book" 1942; "Arabian Nights" 1942; "White Savage" 1943; "Cobra Woman" 1944; "The End of the River" 1946; "Black Narcissus" 1946; "Jaguar" 1956; "Sabu and the Magic Rich" 1957; "Rampage" 1963; "A Tiger Walks" 1963; Sabu became an American citizen on January 4, 1944, after which he served in the US Army Air Force during World War II as a tail gunner.
