Here's an unusual cookbook. Genuine old recipes from around the world, all with a common ingredient - blood. The expected black puddings and blood sausages are here, but also things like Chicken in Blood Sauce from France and Mice (marinated in blood) in Cream from Alaska. I think the authors might have overdone the vampire/horror thing a tad. There are bits of vampire lore mixed in with the recipes and a few bat recipes at the end. Published in an edition of 1500 copies, this one is signed by the author (who died in 2023) with his usual generic inscription: "Never Hunger! Never Thirst! Ardin C. Price". As new, a fine paperback copy.

About the Author

Ardin C. Price, an author and lecturer, is an ordained clergyman. He has been actively involved with the lore of preternatural creatures for over twenty years. He has made several television appearances, both the the U.S. Networks and for the BBC. He now resides in Seattle, where it is overcast most of the time. Although he claims it's because he loves the rain, some think it may be to avoid the sun.
