Signed Copy, undated 1923 presumed 1st edition. Small 4to, xv + pp124 complete with 8 tipped-in colour plates by Mary Penrose-Thackwell. Hardcover in dust jacket. DJ in new protective sleeve in fair condition with top and bottom of spine missing along with some rubbing to edges and chipping to tips of covers. Publishers binding of green cloth spine with gilt titles oer marbled boards in very good- condition with shelf wear to top & tail of spine and a little rubbing to boards. Inside signed by Owen Rutter to half title page and except for a little yellowing and the occasional mark all pages and plates in very good clean condition. A scarce signed copy in a fair dust jacket.

Nikki Green Books is based in Glasgow. Beth Lowell-Green is a third generation bookdealer, who along with her partner Nikki reside in sunny Glasgow. The origins of the business began with Beth's grandmother, Eve Lowell, who started The Dartmoor Bookshop in Ashburton at the back of Beth's grandfathers newsagent shop before moving to her own premises in the town. Beth spent her formative years working with her parents, who started Sue Lowell Natural History Books, based in London. We specialise in natural history, Scottish interest and ornithology along with the rare and unusual.
