About this Item
(no dust jacket, as issued; plastic comb-bound pages inside cloth-covered boards) [moderate soiling to covers (mostly the rear), some age-toning to page edges]. (pen and ink drawings) SIGNED and dated (1976) by the author/artist on the verso of the title page. "Designed and published by the artist" in an edition of 1250 copies, this seems to be the only book-format collection of the work of this St. Louis-born artist (1945- ). It consists of about 80 drawings, mostly whimsical human figures of great diversity, printed on both sides of the heavy-stock pages, with no accompanying test of any kind. The artist (still active) has worked in numerous media, including lithography, silk screen, etching, monotype, offset lithography, computer graphics, film and digital photography, and acrylic painting.
