Barnes does not like to sign his work written using his pseudonym nowadays. He usually retorts that Dan is not here today . This signature in this copy is very nice as one can identify his handwriting from the signature. Condition: fine in a fine wrapper which has be repriced by the publisher. The original price of GBP 4.95 is still visible under the sticker. The first Dan Kavanagh crime novel featuring one of Britain s first male gay detective. Barnes is together with Ian McEwan the best contemporary English writer of his generation and he has been accoladed multiple time including with the David Cohen Prize for Literature and the 2011 (Man) Booker Prize.
