Item description from seller

Letter R of 26 lettered copies signed on the colophon by Charles Seluzicki. "Poetry by Charles Simic is paired with illustrations and hand lettered by Eric Stotik, a leading member of a breakaway generation of Portland painters that includes Paul Green and Mickael Brophy. His haunting imagery complements Charles Simic's darker themes, a surreal fable about power." Printed letterpress at The Beaverdam Press with hand lettered text and six drawings by Stotik on Velke Losiny handmade papers (roughly 8 3/4 "x 12") and bound in paste paperboards with black cloth spine. The lettered issues include an extra suite of the illustrations laid in. A fine, as new copy issued within a fine clamshell box.
