Profusely illustrated with b/w photos, full-page colour plates after paintings by the author, who also contributes numerous sketches throughout. Son of Scott of the Antarctic, Peter Scott was almost equally famous in his own right as Ornithologist, Artist and Traveller, and Founder of The Wildfowl Trust at Slimbridge.
