Inscribed "To prof. Safran with best regards Y Primakov Moscow, 1983". Unread book in VG+ condition with a small chip (still attached) to front end paper and a bit of age discoloration to leaves. Jacket in G+ to VG- condition heavy rubbing and minor tears and chipping to edges, combined with heavy edge wear. Primakov is a career Russian politician who served as the Russian Foreign Minister, Prime Minister of Russia, Speaker of the Supreme Soviet of the Soviet Union, and chief of intelligence service. Primakov is an academician and a member of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Presumed first edition.
