A phenomenal association copy of the first edition, first printing. Signed by Donald Wandrei on the front free end paper and inscribed, "For Frank Belknap Long, Jr. in memory of the too-brief association of last summer. Donald Wandrei April 10, 1928"; with Frank Belknap Long's ownership signature above the inscription. Limited to 322 copies. Bound in publisher's purple cloth ruled in blind with paper label lettered in purple on the upper board. Near Fine with light toning to spine and edges, light toning to paper label, light soiling to cloth and minor wear at extremities. Faint tobacco smoke odor and light finger soiling to contents and several hinges over-opened. The author's first book presented to horror fiction writer Frank Belknap Long, Jr.
