Hard to imagine a more collectible example of this title - Donoghue's account of his World War II experiences in one of the highly-regarded Canadian Public Relations unit - than this one. A first edition, signed and inscribed, in the year of publication, to another notable Canadian: Leslie Rowland (whose armorial bookplate graces the front pastedown) was a journalist and analyst for many years within the Canadian oil industry, and won much recognition for it All in a perfectly preserved, Fine example. Donoghue's inscription: "For Les Rowland - friend of long standing; Back to U. of M. Canada's most authoritative and competent journalist covering the Oil Patch. Hope you like the book !" L39n.
