62p octavo, A very good copy in black and White printed wraps. Some minor foxing to the top and bottom edge of the front panel. This is the first trade edition after a limited edition of 225 copies. Inscribed by Levine to Poet James Dickey who was at the peak of his career. Levine has written his professorial address below the signature. Dickey was writer in residence at San Fernando Valley State College in 1964-65 (California Sojourn,Chapter 18). Seller Inventory # 45344
