A Signed copy of this second edition descripting the works of Dame Edith Evans. The book is in very good condition considering its age with some shelf wear and aging to top of spine. The DW is in good condition with an inch lost at the top of spine. There are two other slight tears on the DW but otherwise it is maintained well.An illustrated study of Dame Edith's work with a list of her appearances on stage & screen. Signed by the actress without inscription.Dame Edith Mary Evans (1888-1976) had a long and highly lauded career as a brilliant theater actress, garnering a Dame Commander of the British Empire appointment. She also won numerous awards for films in her later career, including The New York Film Critics Circle Award, The British Film Academy Award, The Hollywood Foreign Press Award, and three Academy Award nominations.
