Hardcover with DJ. Blue cloth over boards, with silver lettering on the spine. Binding good and clean and tight. Black and gray DJ in good condition, with slight wear at edges. Title page dated 1962. Copyright page also 1962. 556 pages. Illustrated with countless diagrams. Inscribed on the inside of the front cover, hidden by DJ flap, with nice inscription from George Shiers to Chris Sterling; also signed by May Shiers, his wife. Publishers prospectus for the book tucked inside front cover. From the collection of Christopher Sterling, a professor, writer, and collector; he wrote extensively on communications; we are excited to have several shelves of scarce books from his collection listed beside this one. Priority mailing is for a Flat-Rate envelope, with tracking included. Regular shipping by USPS Media Mail is $4. MEDIA MAIL SHIPPING DOES NOT INCLUDE TRACKING.
If you'd like tracking, please let us know before you place the order - We're happy to do it but it costs $1 extra because it means we have to print a shipping label for it individually, slowing down the shipping process considerably -- and we want to be able to keep basic shipping costs as low as we can.
