8vo 8" - 9" tall; 239 pages; 1st edition, 1st printing. Signed by Spender on the dedication page. Solid clean copy in original pictorial dust jacket with $3.75 issue price on the unclipped front flap. Dust jacket is generally crisp edge but is lightly/moderately toned at spine with some mild silverfish tracks to the surface paper of the spine panel. A whisper of fading to the blue cloth at the board edges. From the Jere Real collection of signed books. Jere Real was a professor at Lynchburg College; he coordinated visits and played host to the authors who appeared at the college as part of the Thornton Writer-in-Residence and Guest Reader program. Spender appeared at Lynchburg as part of the Thornton program. VG++/VG-; Signed by Author.
