D.' whom he refers to as a 'public orator', and signs the work 'with the authors compts.'A commentary and discussion on the English constitution, with chapters on common law, 'the Colonies, Plantations, and other Foreign Possessions of the Crown', the Queen's revenue, criminal justice and many more topics.With a library stamp to title page, and no further library markings. In the original cloth binding, with paper spine label. Significant losses to spine label, discolouration to back strip and label. Bumping to spine head. Marks to tail of front board. Front hinge slightly strained, but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Signed to title page head, library stamp to title page. No further library markings.
