This pristine and unread copy was sent to me as gift from a friend who was employed by Random House (Knopf) in 2003. The book has been stored flat in archival conditions since then. This copy is from the August 2003 first printing, first edition, a book which was signed and dated on the title page by the author. The dust jacket is the first state, now protected by a new Mylar protective sleeve. Please see my attached photos, taken before the protective sleeve was added. This is a beautiful and gift-worthy copy of this highly sought-after rarity.
