Erte is a great multi-faceted artist. Book is in flawless as new condition as is the original acetate jacket. Book is bound in gray cloth over boards with spine lettering in silver.Book is protected by a very fine black cloth slip-case. Book is signed by Erte on the limitation page which is the page following the FFEP. This is copy #41 of 250 copies made. It is a stated first edition, with a full number line indicating a first issue. The book is competently edited by Marshall Lee with a preface by Jack Soloman. The introduction which was written by Erte is quite long and revealing. Erte knows his place in the world of fine art and expresses this understanding of what he is producing, with modesty and honesty. There are several interesting photographs in this section which is followed by selected writings by Erte and about Erte.For lovers of fine art and Erte, this is a wonderful and very collectible book. 223 pages including index. Size: Double Elephant - over 25 - 50" tall.
