ESSENCE is based on the life of author Joel Randall, true stories and other tall tales. It is a collection of prose, poetry, and one liners that gives the reader an opportunity to think and stretch.

About the Author:

Joel Randall grew up northwest of Gibbon, Nebraska the sixth generation on the family farm and ranch. He attended a one room school, graduated from college in Kearney, Nebraska and gained a corporate education in Arizona.

Joel was part of a "Summerhill" type school in New Mexico. He build a place, trained horses, milked goats, and fed the hogs. He established a plumbing business, developed an alternative healing center, owned and operated a motel and mobile home business, and moved back to Nebraska where he writes while enjoying the old vehicle hobby and family life.
