1926. First edition. 191pp., frontispiece and five black and white illustrations. The author was the Minister of the Reformed Presbyterian Church, Winnipeg. In this book the author puts forward his arguments against Darwin's theory of evolution. The following is from the introduction: "This book is thorough, scientific and true to the record of creation as found in the Scriptures. It will be welcomed by a multitude of students and many professors, who cannot accept the theory of evolution as applied to the past condition of the earth and its inhabitants, but who have not had access to a scientific text-book which clearly refutes it." The book is bound in the original black cloth covered boards with gold titling on the spine. The case of the book is in very good condition with some shelf wear on the boards and bumping to the bottom of the spine. There is a small dent on the bottom edge of the front board. The contents are tight and clean with an oval stamp from the Free Church College Edinburgh on the bottom of page 43. The author has inscribed the front free endpaper thus: "With the compliments of the author Frank E. Allen". Seller Inventory # gScienceEtc01
