xxxvii, 70 pages. 55 x 72 mm miniature in tan cloth with black stamped lettering and paper illustration to front. Pen and Ink drawings by Warren Chappell in burgundy. First bound edition of Cheever's first story that first appeared in The New Republic, October 1, 1930 when Cheever was 17 years old. Lacks the slipcase, which were custom made by Ralph Sylvester and never completed for the entirety of the print run. Printed in Baskerville type on Arches Mouldmade paper by Patrick Reagh January 1988. Signed by all four contributors. Copy number 18 of an edition limited to 185 copies (one hundred and fifty numbered, twenty-six lettered, 9 with a printed recipient name).
