Blue cloth with recessed horse motif on front board and gilt lettering to spine. Rough cut edges. Numerous illustrations and figures with one colour plate of the skeleton of the horse. Signed by Goldschmidt to Eileen Lainey 'with the authors compliments. Interestingly Goldschmidt has dated the inscription 1839, perhaps he was distracted! Clean, no foxing.Octavo, 133 pages, 550g.
