If you are a discerning Koontz collector then this is the copy you are missing from your shelf. My own personal copy for many years, I am selling it because I need to trim down my collection and, as such, I am concentrating on the UK editions. Published by Bobbs-Merrill in 1977 this book is SIGNED AND LENGTHILY INSCRIBED BY DEAN R KOONTZ AS FOLLOWS: "TO STAN, THIS MAY BE MY FAVOURITE OF THE SHORTER THRILLERS I'VE WRITTEN. IT EVEN HAD ME GASPING A BIT AS I WROTE IT." The jacket is Very Fine and unclipped - it states $8.95 and has the code 52312 on the rear jacket panel. There is a small, hair line tear to the back corner that is hardly noticeable and is mentioned for completeness only. The book is Very Fine and the copyright page states FIRST PRINTING. The page edges are beautiful and white, like they were printed yesterday. The book was published under the Brian Coffey pseudonym and this is reflected on the dust jacket, book and copyright page.
