Octavo, 408 pages. In Good Plus condition with Very Good minus condition dust jacket. Spine is robin's egg blue with dark blue and black lettering. Dust jacket protected by mylar covering, price uncut: "$10.95" on front flap, has mild age toning and soiling along rear cover, fore edges, and mild shelving wear along extremities. Boards have mild shelving wear and sun-fading along extremities, mild foxing and age-toning along tail edges, and mild chipping and tearing to tail fore corners. Text block edges moderately foxed (interior unaffected), head edge dyed blue and has mild scuffing and small liquid droplet stains, tail edge has moderate scuffing and light waviness. Signed flat on title page by Peter Matthiessen. Shelved Room C. 1397004. Special Collections.
