Very Good (little wear & soil covers with little rippling to the paper cover plate; contents clean & tight with bit of browning to the front endpaper). Tall 8vo., blue cloth with illustrated paper panel on the front cover; 150 pages First Edition. With "Published October, 1907" on the copyright page. Signed presentation from Kilvert on the front pastedown, to a well-known illustrator/artist: "To Arthur Williams Brown who, though an artist, is still my friend, with best wishes, from B. Cory Kilvert. Oct. 1st, 07." Obviously, a very early presentation copy! Arthur William Brown (1881-1966) was a Canadian commercial artist, most known for his work as an illustrator for major magazines of the day and illustrating stories of famous American authors. He also illustrated posters for the World War I war effort as well as book cover illustrations. Kilvert lived in New York and also in Ontario, Canada. Seven color plates, with one chapter called Baseball and Lemonade with a great baseball-related color plate.
