This book is the basis for two movies- a 1931 version starring Edward G. Robinson. Boris Karloff and Marian Marsh, directed by Mervyn LeRoy; and a 1936 version issued under the title "Two Against The World," starring Humphrey Bogart and Beverly Roberts.
