Incomplete, lacking 17 quires, comprising 68 pages and numerous lithographs. Extant quires in Very Good condition with very mild wear. In original printed wrappers with glassine. Housed in publisher's folder with purple suede spine within publisher's slipcase designed by Matisse. Shelved case 11. Limited edition of 320 copies, this being one of 250 copies of this regular edition on Arches. All copies are signed by both Matisse and Skira. Floril�ge des Amours took almost eight years to produce, with the completion being delayed by war, production problems, and Matisse's increase in the number of illustrations from about 30 to 126. 1383694.
