About this Item

A very funny story about a very intelligent elephant inscribed, dated and signed by the author on the second endpage. Handsome volume with decorated endpages and illustrations by Frank Ver Beck and gilt and green elephant design on the front cover and spine. The book's hinges are secure. A few pages show a smudge or light foxing. "Copy 2" is written at the top edge of the second endpage and "The Friday Morning Club" is stamped on the title page. There is very light soiling to outer covers and light wear to cover and spine edges and corner tips. (Note: Photos may show a flash reflection.) PayPal always welcome. We pack all our books with care and ship in cardboard boxes. Shipment outside of the United States will require extra funds. Additional photos emailed upon request.
